  • Hosanna Health and Rehab of Piedmont Piedmont, South Carolina 29673

If I could rate Hosanna with zero stars, I would. My mom was sent here after five weeks in ICU at Greenville Memorial Hospital. They claim to specialize in wound care. Ensuring that my mom's wounds were properly cleaned was essential because her immune system was extremely weak. They failed miserably at this. Further, they did not clean her

trach tube at all. She developed pneumonia, and the tube was completely clogged with phlegm. She hadn't eaten regular food in a very long time and was at risk to aspirated. They force fed her huge chunks of food. They didn't provide a bed with rails, despite the fact that she has no strength to walk or hold on to the bed if she started to fall. On top of all this, when family members requested assistance, the staff was rude and condescending. My mom had to return to ICU after a short time because the card at Hosanna was so phenomenally subpar. The ICU nurses at ICU were shocked and horrified when they saw the state she was in. (I forgot to mention that she also got lice somehow while at Hosanna… At a time when she needed the cleanest of conditions because of open wounds!!!!) The GHS ICU nurses said this was not a matter of short staffing; what they were seeing was the result of people "just not doing their jobs." Please do not send your loved one to this nightmare of a facility!

My mother was sent there from the hospital with dementia. The first thing they wanted was a copy of her bank statements. She did not receive the care she needed. All they want are patients who sit around in wheel chairs or those confined to bed. If I could give Hosanna a "0" rating I would. If you have a loved one, don't send them to Hosanna. One last thing, I told them not to wash my mother's clothing, so why was her clothing lost? I haven't got an answer to that question yet.

Terrible nursing home, stroke victim was there they spent more time talking and smoking than working with patients. They did have a few good CNA'S. One good nurse others just pushing pills. Administration only concerned with money, remodel while there to show off for ,spent thousands of dollars on landscape . They were constantly understaffed goofing off waited for ours after call light had been activated.
