Review of Arlington Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

4 Star User Review

My mother, 99 years old, is at Arlington Court and Rehab in Upper Arlington. Looks like most of the reviews are old so, I hope this 2017 update helps you decide about quality of care for your loved one.

The admissions director is being promoted and I am glad she is staying on because she is truly caring and great at her job.

The new activities director and those assisting her are beyond wonderful. The activities director is now sending me photos of Mom and her friend doing art projects. We live in another state and visit every few months but, travel in winter is harder so the pictures are priceless. For Mom's upcoming 100th birthday they will be giving her a party.

The nurses in memory care where Mom is, from everything I witnessed, are loving and caring. When I call they make every effort to put Mom on the phone.

The improvements I would make, were it possible, would be improvement in food (I only ate it once and that was enough) and sprucing up the furniture in patient rooms and plumbing.

I know Mom is being treated wonderfully well and cared for and this is a blessing!!

The back yard with the fountain is one of Mom's favorite places, and mine.

The ice cream and snacks they spontaneously serve are a surprise and enjoyed.

The neighborhood is lovely and the residents that can, are taken on outings to restaurants, for an extra fee and well worth it for their enjoyment.

Mom has her hair done every week in their beauty shop, an extra but affordable fee. I am grateful they offer this service.

I am giving four stars for the wonderful people and care. The two improvement areas kept me from giving five stars.

Be sure to make your loved one's room nicely decorated with pictures and pretty things so they feel more connected to home.
