With regard to recent stay at Egar Healthcare and Rehab after surgery, very disappointed with the level of care received while staying there. Very little or no response when pull cord pulled requiring assistance to rest room. Couldn't walk
on own. When brought back from therapy, was left in wheelchair outside room door. Was told I had to wait for person to assist me back in room. When nurses or aides passed, ignored. Whenever I had a question, was told "I don't know." Staff very unfriendly, curt and not helpful. During my entire stay, had problems with telephone, reported several times to maintenance by myself and out of town sister, never fixed correctly.
On one positive note, therapy dept. was wonderful, therapist good. Thank goodness for that.
If ever needed a facility like this again, would never go back.
