Review of Augusta Center for Health & Rehabilitation, LLC

5 Star User Review

I was a resident of the Kindred Augusta, Maine facility from May 4 to May 24, 2013 for rehab purposes due to a left knee replacement. I can only rate the , staff and especially rehab staff as excellent. The facilities appear to be dated. I do have several constructive comments to make.

1. The furniture in the rooms is not wheel chair accessible to use the sink.

2. Halls are well carpeted and kept clean but numerous carts squeek to make additional, unncessary noise. It appears some minor manintenance of food and service carts is appropriate.

3. Accoustics in the rehab room is terrible plus the room appears too small.

4. Accoustics in the dining room/activity room is terrible.

5. It is a shock to enter this facility plus any other facility I have visited. In my opinion residents should be "parked" in a seperate room rather than at the entrance.

6. Wheel chairs "parked" at the entrance often make it difficult for those in the facility for rehab purposes to move from their room to the rehab room.
