My mother's stay in this facility was an absolutely horrible experience for my family. The very first night, $100 was stolen from my purse as we moved her room. She was placed, repeatedly, with other patients whose televisions played at maximum volume late into the night. She was drugged until she was no longer able to recognize us. She was repeatedly neglected - wasn't taken to the toilet, wasn't given something to drink, was treated rudely and roughly by the nursing staff. Several times the staff claimed to have made phone calls that didn't happen - cell phones have records! We were desperate for the physical therapy and they did a good job, but we took her out early, even though she had more benefits, because she was so poorly treated. We hired 24 sitters to be with her - they were treated rudely and told they were not allowed to provide any direct care. Our family was shocked and terribly disillusioned related to this experience. I would NEVER put a person in this facility. We are so grateful to have her now in assisted living where she is joyful and communicative and back to being the person we know and love.
