This facility is by far the most deplorable place imaginable. I can only assume the rating displayed is from the staff of this place because as a daughter of a patient, it took 1 hour to realize this place os only concerned with collecting a pay check. The social worker needs to be fired immediately. The conditions are filthy. Do not go here

This is no place to take anyone you love. There are wonderful cna's and nurses here however the administration and the bad apples far outweigh the good. You will not be happy at all with the care here. When you do decide to lodge a complaint, the administrator will likely become belligerent as the staff does and they will ask you to leave.

Poor place to go after surgery. They were to clean and change wound twice a day but only did about half of the time. When they did do it the dressing would come lose often.
Rooms were cleaned daily but done poorly. Toilet was left dirty and could have caused an infection.
Seemed to be short staffed.
Only got to shower once a week and never given bath supplies unless asked.
Do not send your loved ones to this home.

My parent was having chest pains the doctor said they needed to go to the hospital. Facility would not send them. They tried to prevent the family from taking them to the hospital. I took them anyway. They had kidney failure and 90 percent blockage and ended up with three stints. Two of the three were in the main artery. They would have died. Do not put your loved one in this place.

Bad place to bring anyone, the administration was rude and loud, aides hanging around the nurses stations while there are people crying out and call lights on all over. Spoke with some staff who gave me the impression the company was terrible to work for and they couldnt wait to find new jobs. Not where i want to bring my mother!

Clients who enter here walking with assistance, and continent, will leave incontenent and in a wheelchair. Do NOT let your family members be put here if they need any help eating, unless you can be there for each and every meal. If you are not, it is likely the meal will not be eaten. Also, come in between meals, to make sure your loved one gets something to drink if s/he cannot hold a cup (or take it off the tray, if the tray is even reachable): otherwise, dehydration is a risk, as this place is way too understaffed to bother to feed and hydrate residents.
If your loved one enters continent, beware: there is not enough staff here to assist a person to the toilet, so they will be diapered, which means their legs will atrophy, and they will lose their ability to be continent after some time here.

Delivered food there once…witnessed a woman moaning in pain on a bed in the hallway. No nurses doing ANYTHING to help this God blessid woman and as i was leaving her heart rate was going INSANE (she was on a heart monitor) and the nurses didnt do ANYTHING. I wanted to cry. This is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! This is abuse at its CRAZIEST.

Incompetent and egotistical administration and staff. They are in over their heads. They need constant monitoring by a resident's loved one to be sure they are not causing, creating or allowing harm to residents. Wrong meds given, wrong dosages given. Resident's call buttons go unanswered. Resident's cries for help go unanswered. Wish State of Michigan would shut this place down. Unless you can be there every day to make sure they do their job, please choose somewhere else for your loved one!

My father is there and we are so happy with the care and the whole experience. He has is own private room that is set up like a small apartment. He feels at home. The care that is given is great. It is clean and doesn't smell like other nursing facilities we have seen.

I can't give this facility even 1 star. The smell is horrible, and patients liter the hallway unattended, calling out and crying. The rooms are cold and unwelcoming. This facility is everything negative you hear about nursing homes, and then some. I wouldn't house my dog there. Tour before sending a loved one there. We were told by MCG that we had to go there for their transportation, this isn't true.

Beware!!! They almost killed my father!!! Caused 3 major health issues which landed him in the hospital within 5 days. Can't even manage simple health care.
