A duke's mixture of good & bad. R.C. has slid downward in the past year.
Staff often arguing loudly in public.
Less attentive to residents that yr. ago.
Hit or miss with delivery of services.
Slow to respond to resident needs.
Management way out-of-tune with actual working of this business.
Staffing nearly always short/light handed.
As with many businesses - there are bright spots. Primarily do to individual staff member's personal efforts. In other words - there some really great members of staff. Motivated, hard working, and willing to take the initiative.
Unfortunately - this "good side" is outweighed most times by the no-too-good side.
Wake up management - you are severely lacking and the slide downwards continues.
Suggestions; if you have someone at R.C. - stayed tuned to treatment and staff interactions. Be persistent with questions or statements of resident needs. Do not hesitate to meet with staff/doctors/management. In other words - stay on top of your resident and their treatment. Take advantage of their good points and do not tolerate the bad points. This is not an inheritantly bad place.
