Trinity Mission of Farmville, VA is poorly staffed and Under Managed. I feel so sorry for the majority of the Patients residing their. As a Nurse (CNA, RN or LPN), you work as a team. At Trinity Mission, the Nursing Staff cannot even show the desire to help or assist other Nurses when the need arises. Which that alone puts the Patient's care at a high risk. Their equipment, such as lifting equipment for lifting patients, is way underrated. My meaning on that is, their Lifting Equipment is only maximum lift rated at 250lbs. what about the patients that exceed that weight limit considerably. Then you add to that the fact that no one wants to help each other as a team. There you end up with Patients not being turned periodically, not gotten up in order to clean the bed linens. You have patients that are unable to get out of bed without assistance. their beds are NOT equipped with side rails. There you have a patient being put at a very high risk of falling out of their bed and possibly receiving serious injuries, all because of poor Management. Trinity Mission of Farmville, VA needs some serious restructuring of their Nursing Staff and a complete overhaul of their Management.
