Review of Burke Health and Rehabilitation Center

3 Star User Review

Amazing physical, speech and occupational therapy. Brand new rehab gym and equipment. Staff is very caring. The primary doctor has a somewhat aloof and cold bedside manner, in my opinion, which can take away from the great rehab experience they offer. The nurses are very professional, but they have way too many patients. Patients are often dirty or in pain for too long unless families complain. Communication between staff on the patient could be better. They have free wifi, lots of art on the walls and a nice library. The extensive lawns outside are very pretty and are very nice to stroll around when you want to go outside. They back up to a very private forested area which is nice. They bring dogs and music in often for therapy, have a variety of activities and try to be as friendly and comforting as possible. They seem to cater to Catholics heavily with communion available regularly. The food is up and down, but mostly of good quality. Families should check in very often to make sure their loved ones get proper care, but that is true with most places like this.
