It is very disturbing that the activities staff paint the patient's fingernails against the wishes of the family. This may seem like a harmless activity but it is very disturbing to see my mother's person treated like she is a Barbie doll. I came in yesterday to find my mother's nails were painted black! This is the second time this has occurred and against my wishes. My mother never painted her fingernails in her life! Also, where are the aides? There never seems to be anyone at the nurses station. We will definitely be looking for another place more suitable for my mother's care.
