My grandma is in this home and a couple of weeks ago I went to pick up a mini fridge that corporate said they could no longer have. We tried several times on the weekend too pick it up and we were told everytime it was "under lock and key" I went early one morning because I figured admin personel would be there. They scrambled around acting like they were looking for it. I went to my grandmas room to see if she could tell me where it was and she ended up taking me to an office on her unit. The office turned out to belong to the "unit nurse in charge". WhenI walked in, she was frantically dumping all her stuff in a plastic bin. When I asked her if that was her stuff in MY grandmas fridge, her response was " well the fridge has been here for months". This place is un believable! So I get a call from the administration today telling me that my grandmother is okay and basically they had no problem with what their nuse did . My grandmother agrees with whatever they say because she doesn't want to leave her friends and she's
gotten so used to it there. Be very weary of putting your loved ones in this place, administration condones this kind of behavior and staff knows it so unethical behavior
Is quite common there.
