When my mom arrived in April of 2014, it was privately owned. The food was so much better at that time. The care was too. I like the aides; they are kind and helpful. The PT people are great. The nurses are just ok. I had an issue in Dec with mom not having a shower for 2 weeks. I'm not sure where the problem is because there aren't very many residents. If you're going to be present several times a week/month, it's ok. If you won't be around much or your loved one can't speak up, I'd keep looking. It used be Sheridan, now it's owned by Nexion which is a big business.
