If you care about your loved ones do not send tem to Park Manor Of Humble the staff there are very unprofessional and very rude especially to family members the management there are some of the most incompetent knuckle heads I have ever seen the residents don't get ice water the staff do not come and check on the residents on a regular bases I have staff get residents up for breakfast and keep them up till the next shift comes without checking on them or seeing if they need changing the people that work in the kitchen are by far the worst of all they are very rude to the residents who just simply ask for more food or something to drink and the treat the family members even worse have personally seen staff in kitchen serving food without gloves a definite health code violation. when you walk into the facility the hallways smell of urine and there are flies and knats flying \everywhere if I could give Park Manor of Humble zero stars I would. so if care about your loved ones DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CARE FOR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER AT HOME OR CAN NOT FIND A CARING FACILITY PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS ONE!!!!!! THE NURSES ARE SOMETIMES DUMBFOUNDED ON PROVIDING THE CONTINUAL CARE THAT THE RESIDENTS NEED. THEIR IDEA OF PATIENT CARE IS TO GET THEM UP IN THE AM AND PUT HTEM TO BED AFTER DINNER, NO CARE IN BETWEEN. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED. THE MANAGEMENT STAFF IS THE WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Park Manor of Humble Humble, Texas 77338

This is definately the worst place I have ever encountered. Poor management, poor customer service and I wish Corporite would do some thing to improve the situation . They keep people with out water, they do not change linens, dirty sheets, or no sheets at all. Dirty bedside tables, dirty rooms, basically will not help the residents that are paying so much of there hard earned dollars. Unbeliveable . Do some Corporate!!!!!

  • Regent Care Center of Kingwood Kingwood, Texas 77339

I was so dussapointed with this place. Plenty of staffing. During the day, but skeleton. Crew at best weekends. Waited in room with loved one hanging off the side of the bed throwing up, with call button pushed for 15 min with no response.i finally walked to the nurses station to find 2 nurses sitting at the desk ignoring the call. Granted. If they were not his nurse, they could have answered and paged his nurse! They had to catch the doc in the. Parking lot who never bothered to come in, and ordered labs for next day. Oh, did I mention my loved one was a cancer patient? Well, we as family asked for an ambulance to take him to hospital. My loved one spent several weeks there with a problem that could not have waited overnight! We will not be continuing our loved. One rehab here!!

My grandfather was put in this nursing home about 2 years ago, and they are the worst. My grandfather was a diabetic who took insulin on a sliding scale. If his sugar was normal, he didn’t get a shot. Twice they gave him a large amount of insulin when his sugar was only 100! (Normal is 80-120). When we were called at home about it, my aunt asked them to go take his sugar again. We were told that if we wanted a private nurse, we should have hired one. A little over 2 weeks before he died, my aunt got a call that he had an eye infection (pink eye, they said!!!) She got there early the next morning, and it was clearly a black eye. He had taken a blow to the head. His trapeze bar was too high for him to reach; he could not sit up alone, or stand under any circumstances. His railing was up, so he could not have fallen out of bed. What ever happened, the blow broke an orbital bone, and he had no memory of the blow itself. This is not unusual for a head injury. But he did say that he got into an altercation with a male nurse. One nurse came running up to my aunt before she even saw Grandpa and the black eye to tell her “I was in the room with “john” the whole time and nothing happened!” (Not his real name, of course!) What we do know is that “John” was not his assigned nurse. He came to the assigned nurse at the end of the shift to tell her that he had just changed my grandfather’s diaper and not to bother going in. She, being a good nurse, checked anyway and found my grandfather with a very dirty diaper. She didn’t see the black eye, but they take time to form. In the next shift, the eye started swelling and bleeding out of the socket. My grandfather had a drastic personality change for a little over a week, fell into a coma-like state, and died. We believe the injuries, whether accidental or on as a result of the “altercation”, killed him.

I wish that I had read this site before taking my parent to this facility. They do not provide good quality care and opportunities for mistreatment are high. Do not let the nice building sway your need for an adequate facility. KEEP LOOKING. This facility is owned by Park Manor on McKay Blvd. where a family member stayed for several years without incident. Unless you are going to be available to advocate for your loved one on a daily basis THIS IS NOT THE PLACE for you.

  • Regent Care Center of Kingwood Kingwood, Texas 77339

Regent Care Center of Kingwood is a beautiful facility with horrible service. Ideal place to take your loved one if you want them to end up dead! This is the most insensitive place that I know. They let my loved one get a bed sore and did nothing to treat it. In fact they would close her up in the room by herself to keep the stinch from her room to linger in the hallways. Finally, her family requested that she be transported to the hospital for treatment. By this time the bed sore was beyond stage 4 and had mrsa. She was treated with antibiotics for over 6 months. She eventually passed away once the infection got into her bloodstream. It's a sad situation and doesn't look like anything can be done about it. Please, please, please….do not - take your loved one to this place. This place is worse than worst. I rate it a "0".

According to inspection ratings this place got a good rating but please read this review because if you care about you family members, don't send them here! Maybe they are short staffed or just staffed with lazy individuals without the proper credentials. They stopped feeding our family member who was on a feeding tube because "know one was in charge of deciding when to turn the feeding apparatus on or off". Whe "nurses" were asked, they would say they weren't in charge of that part and would get someone to help…but no one ever comes to turn it on. The patients press the call buttons but no one answers for hours! We tried to call the main number to get someone to "please go to the patient's room". The line just rings and rings and then when someone finally picks up, they put you on hold and no one ever gets back on the line. This place needs to be reported for abuse. Don't send your family member here!

I am highly disaapointed in this business, and their terrible practices.I donated a gift to the faciltie's residence for free of charge. This gift was not only not given to the residence, but it was displayed in front of the building with a for sale sign on it.Stating to pay at the front desk. These gifts were worth five dollars each, and I supplied three hundred of them to be given to the residence. They made a of $1500 profit from a donated gift. How unfair to charge the residence for something given to them.

The main complaint that we have is that this facility is under staffed, expecially at night. They go from a full crew during the day to only one person working an entire hall after 10 pm.It makes it impossible for the patient's needs to be met in a timely manner. They told us they did not run a skeleton crew, that they were fully staffed but that is not what we have experenced.Even after we have complained and were promised by the management that the long delays in care would not happen again,it still goes on.We don't blame the workers, they seem hard working, good people, they just can not cover all they are expected to do.
