  • Stonemere Rehabilitation Center Frisco, Texas 75035

I stayed at The Stonemere for two weeks following a total knee replacement. I was scared out of my wits due to my surgery in the first place and frankly don't like being at the mercy of others. For the first time in my life, I found myself relying on strangers to care for my every need. The Stonemere stepped up to the plate and proved to be the right choice. I saw excellence and compassion in action by not just the staff but the Executive Director as well. Never at any time did I feel uncared for or unsafe. In fact, by the end of my stay, I made many new friends and plan to tell everyone I know about the best kept secret in Collin County. A big shout out goes to the Executive Director, Daniel Prince, whose compassionate heart is reflected in his staff. Mr. Prince requires a high standard of quality care and attention from his staff and demonstrates by example with excellence as he frequently spends time with each patient instead of hiding behind a desk. As a result of the exquisite care and therapy I received at The Stonemere, I am functioning 2 weeks ahead of schedule in my recovery. The proof is in the results!

My mother, Pat Wiser is at Prairie Estates Frisco Texas. She has dementia and had a stroke, so she seems to be left to not be changed for a long spell. She is soaked every time my sister comes to see her. One day this week, she was had messed and was dried & stuck on her, and itching. Getting all over her finger nails. She sits so long wet, that she is wet and her pad on her chair is soaked and stinks so bad! That is so disrespectful.

I came to see mom in June. She was in her wheelchair and her glasses were on the floor and they had been rolled over them. Had to get another pair, because of them getting bent up. So she had to get another pair, then they carelessly lost a second pair. I believe you need to replace them, after messing up one pair that she couldn't wear them any more, and lost another, without a thought of having 2 pairs you all have done away with.

I find your nursing home to be very uncaring! I hate the thought of the workers that have no respect for those that are unable to care for themselves.

My sister had chest pains and was congested complained for a week, when she said she wanted to go to the hospital they finally took a chest xray and she has pnuemonia! The nurses here are so mean to the patients it is ridiculous. I have heard them tell patients to "get over it" "don't exaggerate" and other mean things, even when they start to cry.

Most of the staff is so rude and uncaring when I said I was going to report them to the state, a nurse at the desk starting laughing. Not a good place folks. I am looking for a new place for her.
