Review of Signature Pointe on the Lake Healthcare Community

2 Star User Review

We were totally dissatisfied with the care that my father-in-law received in June and July of 2012 at Signature Pointe. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of 1 is because the physical therapists and nursing staff (not nursing management) were kind and caring and for the most part did the best they could given the terrible management they received. The facility is dated and shabby. They lost many of his clothes. Instead asking him to explain his pain, they have him hydrocodone, which did not allow him to do his physical therapy (the reason he was there). The worst was, though, that he had a bacterial (C-Diff) infection (with diarrhea) for a week before being treated. This landed him back in the hospital and ultimately put him on a downward slide to his death, a month later. Even though he wasn't in great health, we are convinced that their treatment shortened his life by at least 3 good years. Shame on you Signature Pointe.

My law firm is investigating a claim for improper care for our clients mother who passed away after being treated at this place. We would like to discuss your experience with you if you have a moment.
