Park Manor of Conroe Conroe, Texas 77301
This place needs to be imploded or totally revamp the employees at this facility. I pulled my mother out after 4 days because they were not attending to my mother's needs (ie: feeding!!). They made it very difficult to get her out…took 6 hours. When they finally dressed her to leave facility, I followed them and took pictures of my mother's bottom…horrible rash covering her bottom from lack of hygiene maintenance due to laziness of staff.
I saw my mother's feeding chart the evening before…she was supposed to be being fed by staff…her records showed 0% intake. I left that evening and decided to show up next day at breakfast time. The staff person came in and put food on tray in front of my mother, who is unable to eat on her own due to stroke. The staff member did not realize I was in room and watching until after she placed food. She played stupid until I pointed out slip of paper with tray that stated my mom needed to be fed. Her response…"sorry, we are understaffed today"…when I mentioned paperwork with 0% on them, another person shows up with the paperwork and amazingly, the 0% are now numbers….wow…doctoring paperwork…really??
I have been dealing with this inept system for years, people. Be smart…talk to family members of residents…talk to the residents…push for webcams!
I have my mom at home with me now…I never found a decent place to have her stay. It is particularly sad that Conroe Hospital put my mom into Park Manor as they are considered a skilled nursing facility…BAD place!
