My mom almost DIED at this facility. The DAY I got her out of there she ended up in the emergency room and then a week long stay in the hospital (not in Borger) before she could be placed in another facility. I have pictures of her bruising, her face where you could tell she was WAY over medicated; she had an open sore on her leg 4 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide because a follie tube had been placed in her and she had laid on top of that tube for a week and a half! When asked how they treated it - they didn't and when asked how they cleaned it- they didn't. The day she left, when I removed the pad under her sheet, there was STANDING URINE- old, dark and smelly. There is more, but that is enough. I WOULD NEVER recommend this place without a COMPLETE overhaul and THEN give them some time to prove themselves. My mom is in a nice place, where they care and they are clean. THEY NEVER tell a resident to SHUT UP or are mean to them. I WITNESSED BNH telling residents to 'shutup'. Again, I could go on but will stop now. NO NOT RECOMMEND THIS EVER! (2 years ago) ZERO STARS
