Could not recommend Bright Glade. Patients are sorely neglected. There is very little stimulation to keep minds active. Patients who are able to walk are encouraged to remain in wheel chairs all day. Have you ever sat in one for any time…not comfortable at all. Patients who should be up and active remain in bed for long periods because there is nothing to do. They are neglected by staff and they become hopeless depressed and physically weak resulting in the loss of will to live. The food y is deplorable. Who doesen't know that organ meat is not healthy. When told multiple time that the patient can not tolerate certain foods they ignor that and do not provide alternative. Therefore, the patients just don't eat ewhich seems to be just fine with the staff. Bottom line- wouldn't take a dog there.
