Review of Midtown Center for Health and Rehabilitation

In Visiting The St Jude Target house facility which is loccated next to this facility, I notice several Staff Members and patients Smoking on the Property. Some patients we so feeble and frail that they were given fire proof aprons to wear while smoking cigarettes so as to not set themselves on fire. The Smell from the stench of the cigarettes flows over onto the play area of the Target House facility where many children who are under the care of St Jude Hospital play. This second hand smoke is dangerous to everyone especially the small lungs of stricken Children. I think it would be wise to move that smoking area for those sick patients and the Staff Members at St Peters tp the other side of the building where the parking lot is. Better Still do like all the hospitals do and completely ban smoking on the Property.

Resident rights are observed with a designated area to keep residents safe and monitored. Elderly adults still have the right to make decisions about their lives in their homes to preserve their quality of life and freedom of choice. As a non-smoker, I understand the concerns however, smoking times are designated and can be easily avoided by those who wish not to be exposed.
