My Mother has been a resident of the facility for 10 years . The thing that impresses me most is the way they make her feel like framily. The CNAs see to her every need.Her body is kept clean and also her bed. There is seldom an odor which I have experienced in other facilities that I have done volunteer work at.The staff makes you feel comfortable and welcome.NursesW are always willing to take the time to answer any questions you have containing to her medications and health.If she even has a scratch on her they call and inform me.I am also informed of any change in her medications.The CNAs are the hardest working caregivers I have encountered.Social Events are scheduled fo help with rehab.Some CNAs even sing to her when they have a rare minute or two they can spare.My Mother isn't always a good patient but this does not prevent them for givingt her top quality care.Although the facility is old it is well maintainedl and safe. I would recommend this facility as a home away from home.One thing I would recommend is having a private room for patients who are in their last hours so their family could be with them and it would not affect any roommate they may have.
