We are pleased with the way the Kindred-Northhaven home has taken care of our father. He is a victim of a heart attack followed with a stroke, paralyzing his right side and also of a broken hip on his left side. He can no longer walk or help with his care. He has been at Northhaven for almost 3 years. Our mother visits with our father often and the both of them are treated with respect. He is clean and well fed. My mother has eaten lunches and dinner with him several time and says they have very good food. The staff is very friendly and cooperates with us in the care of our father. We are happy, under the circumstance, he can live his life in a care unit that treats him with compassion and respect. I did not rate it as a five star nursing home simply because perfection is impossible to attain.
