My review will be quite different from the only other one here. I found the caregiving team to be compassionate, well educated, humble, patient and respectful. Lydia (Mom's social worker) was a joy to work with and helped me through the maze of initial problems. Her years of experience, her kind and caring attitude and her patience with my unending questions were priceless. The Charge Nurses are second to none, they too would stop mid-step to answer questions or tend to any problem I might have. One must understand they spend more time with patients/family than they do with their own and never once did they show any emotion other than true compassion. The RN's? OMG I cannot commend them enough. Lora, Winnie, Linda, Autumn, Lisa. Roberta, Ben…you ladies (and gentlemen) showed me what caring is all about. You never once ignored Mom or any question I might have had. My respect and admiration for you is over the top, I can only hope and pray you're still around when I make my final trip to your facility. The Nursing Director? First class all the way, stopped in the middle of something to come and check on my Mom without a second thought. Now I know why you guys and gals dress in white, you're angels. And now to the "ground troops", the guys and gals on the CNA level who (for me) are the backbone, the spine…the all important cog in the maze of gears………you guys are simply the best! James, Houston, Alisha, Dalton and so many more who (I apologize) I've forgotten your names but your faces are in my prayers….you are all awesome. You walk a million zillion miles and never get tired, you find something to talk about to all the residents while you're helping those that need that extra hand at mealtime, you make them feel like family, like someone honestly does care. You never missed saying hello, you never refused a request, you always made me feel like I was the only one there. Thank you for that. The housekeeping staff are the cream of the crop, trying hard not to "get in the way" but professional to the ninth degree, I'm so proud that you show such pride in your work and such compassion for those you help make comfortable. And to my personal hero, to the young woman who refused to leave me alone with Mom at a time when God was calling her home, to Michelle….I'll never forget your kindness. I will never forget your professionalism. I will never forget how you treated Mom as if she were your own. To the staff that pronounced Mom…you are all in my prayers nightly not only thankful prayers but prayers of safety and prayers you'll always be those shining angels in white that we turn to in our time of need. As a team (make no mistake, you ARE a team to be reckoned with) you made the worst time of my life bearable, you never swayed away from the truth and because of you I was aware and able to savor every moment I had left. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Respectfully,

    Sue White
