All in all the health care was o.k. I was totally discusted one night, because I went up to my fathers room to get his walker, (he was in the cafeteria visiting with other family members) the door was shut so I knocked on it. The women ( I don't know if she was a C.N.A. or a Nurse) answered the door and asked if she could help me. She had gloves on and was taking care of my fathers room mate. I told her I came up for my fathers walker, so she said I'll get if for you. She grabbed his walker and put it outside the door. I said to her, you were just taking care of the room mate with those gloves shouldn't you have taken them off and washed your hands before you touch my fathers walker ? Could you wash the walker? So she took the gloves off and washed the walker for me. No one should have to tell these workers how to keep from contaminating everything. For all I know, she could have been changing the room mates diaper. Totally Discusted!!!!!!!! Also I don't think they give enough physical therapy. They don't walk the patients enough. This is very crucial for many of the elderly in these facilitys.
