I spent some time in the recovery section of this business. The therapy program was great. The nursing care was ok except for when the nurses were too busy to attend to medical needs. The staff seemed friendly at first but after some time they came across as a catty. During my time there I would try go to management about some things that could be done to improve the atmosphere of the building and found it was like dealing with a used car salesman. They would tell you something similar to what you wanted to hear but not deliver or would try to pin you with the problem. One fellow staying there would often complain to me about how the facility didn't have supplies for his procedures and he had to spend his own money for the supplies. Staff was always commenting about how they were out of certain medical supplies but would normally have to wait a week for them to arrive. It didn't seem to me that people in the nursing home section were receiving very good care. They seemed dirty with food on their clothes. One time I saw a worker on the verge of tears. I asked them what was wrong. Apparently the night before a fellow in the long term section had choked to death on his own vomit. I can’t recommend the nursing home section for anyone.
