I am writing on behalf of a neighbor who spent over a month at Pilot Butte after a fall. She had to wait often for over 45 minutes to be helped off a toilet. Her sheets were cleaned only twice in over the month she was there. I wish I had known her so that she could have had some kind of advocate. Her wheelchair was not ordered until the last day of her stay, requiring her to stay an extra 11 days and which she had to pay out of pocket as her Medicare paid only up to 22 days, something the center knew and acknowledged. I hope your relatives' stay isn't as horrible as what she described to me.
