What a disappointment! My father moved to Epworth Villa independent living about three years ago. I was very supportive of the move, it seemed like a good choice and a top notch facility. What a joke! After his move they started a huge addition with mean that a) interior access was cut off from fitness facilities; b) food was served on paper plates with an very limited menu. My father dealt with this for six months (the addition took longer than planned). When he passed away in May 2015, nothing had changed, Epworth was still not delivering on their promises, and the whole atmosphere of the place was negative and toxic. If your loved one is considering Epworth, don't!
