  • Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe Chillicothe, Ohio 45601

I wish someone had posted a detailed review before my husband was transferred into this facility. He needs rehab to get back on his feet and come home. He only gets an hour a day and then is left in bed or parked in a wheelchair the rest of the day. His condition called for his blood pressure, temperature and weight to be monitored and the only time they took any of these vitals was on admission. The staff is way to busy to afford real skilled nursing to a patient.

I am visiting there almost everyday and the call lights are sometimes not responded to for 8 to 10 minutes. If someone is in real trouble it is too late by the time someone runs in to check on them. I experienced standing in my husbands doorway listening to why the call lights were not responded to and the Nursing assistants were visiting with each other instead of responding to just check real quick what may be going on in that room.

Nursing staff is very good, but extremely overworked and understaffed. They do need a refresher course on how to do certain procedures in a more clean way. I'm almost certain that contamination must be pretty high.

I have only found one explanation for the poor quality of food served in this facility and that is maybe some of the staff take home the better foods that are ordered in and use sub-standard low quality foods to give the clients.

  • Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center Frankfort, Ohio 45628

My father has been at Valley View for seven months and I am extremely pleased with the attention and the care he receives. He receives weekly visits from the doctor, as needed. All his personal needs are attended to. The care givers call when ever there is a concern and the administration is very attentive and caring. The facility is cheerful and welcoming. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to send a loved one who has Alzheimer's or who can not look after themselves! S. Eley
