I gave parkside 5 stars because of the wonderful staff. They work tirelessly to provide the best care possible with very little to work with. They try very hard but things tend to fall through the cracks simply because there is not enough nurses and aides. My dad is very sick and went to parkside from icu where his nurse had 2 patients. Now she has 20!! There's no possible way 1 nurse could give him the care he requires. He is on a ventilator and requires more care than a typical nursing home patient. I've literally seen nurses cry over the lack of help. I praise them for trying so hard
