Park View Nursing Center Edgerton, Ohio 43517
My father was in Parkview Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, for approximately 45 days. In that time, he had pneumonia, bronchitis, cellitis and clostriduium difficile.
Issues:
1. I was the one who requested care of my father's cold - after 4 days, it was determined to be pneumonia.
2. Undermedication of lasik may have resulted in seeping legs (cellitis - bacterial infection) requiring hospital care at a wound clinic.
3.We took my dad to ER where they determined bronchitis after my dad had pneumonia.
4. After having diarrhea for 5 days and the other issues, we transferred him to a new facility which sent him to the ER where the diarrhea was diagnosed as clostriduium difficile. The hospital also had to take care of horrible rashes, etc. in the groin area, inner leg area and rear. We were informed it was because the clostridium difficile went undiagnosed and probable insufficient adult diaper changes.
5. The dr only visits the 3rd Thursday of each month. Since my father checked in the day of this visit, he did not see him until the next month.
During this time, my father lost approximately 30 lbs.
