They didn't deserve one star! Upon entering the NEW and IMPROVED, UPDATED facility I was impressed! But, the facade was seen through within a few weeks! The care was almost not existent! My mother laid in soiled depends for hours and never changed, because she was not a complainer or used the call light often. When the call light was put on it took 20-30 minutes to answer. I can testify to this because I was the one put on the light. My mother was a pleasant lady and the staff adored her when she was up and out of the room, which I had to do! At one point I was in the bathroom and the administrator didn't know I was there, he told therapy to keep my mom her medicare100 days no matter what it took because they needed her money! I confronted the administrator and he said I miss understood. When I tried to switch facilities he threatened me with taking her AMA and I would be stuck with the bill! I have turned this place over to state. The food was lousy and cold, care was terrible, there was a lot of clientele there with drug/alcohol addictions, the therapy gym had no equipment except an old broken,rickety bike from 1980?, I can go on!… PLEASE don't let your loved one experience this!
