The staff at Azalea are ok, I did not feel safe leaving my family member there. The management is HORRIBLE!!!!!! The nurses are overworked and very tired. I brought some of the nurses lunch one day because they got "stuck" there for 18 hours because their bosses wouldn't answer their phones? The staff would be great if they had a good support system. This place needs some serious management changes. I moved my family member because of the lack of respect I felt when talking to their rehab nursing manager. She was very rude and then proceeded to blame the nurses and not take responsibility. The CNA staff is good but once again overworked as well and sometimes forget to tell the nurses of a patients concern. Some people in the therapy department are pushy and tried to get my family member up when she wasn't ready and had not had pain medication. And then one morning tried to get her up at 6:30! She needs her rest! Not to be woken up this early for therapy. Overall I was very unhappy with the facility. The food was ok. Not very nutritious. The housekeeping staff was not good, the bathroom wasn't cleaned for over a week! Overall I would not suggest it.
