The staff was unfriendly to me, called me at home and told me I was interfering in his care. He received inappropriate treatment for his condition, leaving him in a wheelchair for 3 hours, twice in 3 days when he had severe lymphedema. This caused increased swelling and extreme pain for him. When I arrived and asked that he be taken out of the chair, I was told they would get to it when they could. He did not receive his asthma medications at the appropriate times. I had the feeling that they were understaffed because they were unable to respond to his needs in a timely manner. After 3 and a half days, his condition worsened. They ignored his pleas to be returned to the hospital when he had extreme breathing problems until I arrived and demanded them to call an ambulance. He died a few hours later in the emergency room.
