So so sad. We had a much better experience here in 2007 when my mom was there for rehab after hip surgery. Now she's in long term skilled nursing and it's not the same. She smells bad. She isn't cleaned up when she soils herself. No one notes whether or not she eats. She's cast adrift. Someone in the next room cries out "help me, help me." Is it better anywhere else? I don't know. It's tragic.

I wrote the above review about 4 weeks ago. Following a meeting with the staff there, and starting my mom on hospice care, the situation is much improved. She now receives regular checks to make sure she's clean and comfortable. Her eating habits are noted and attention is given to make sure she always has water and Ensure. The overall environment is also quieter and less stressful. My family deeply appreciates the care she currently is receiving.
