Review of Peak Resources - Charlotte

My dear mother was at Presbyterian hospital following a hip replacement. We were told that Peak was the only facility that had offered her a bed. We went there after her representative at the hospital told us it was good. We were so mislead. My mother had a surgical wound from the hip replacement. After one month, my mom was sent to the hospital because of a fever and was not able to be awakened. The emergency room doctor told us the wound was infected and had a dirty dressing on it. After that I refused to take my mother back. I went to another facility and was very pleased. Each time we went in I checked my mom's dressing, it was always clean and changed. My mom cried when she went home. She said she was glad to be going but she would miss everyone there. Don't be fooled! If they say Peak, say NO! Call other places. I truly believe that Presbyterian is in cahoots with Peak. Peak must be paying them to send people their way.
