My experience with Laurels has not been wonderful. My mother fell and was there for short term rehab. I felt the moment she arrived all they wanted to do was get her out of there. Every day whenever she needed to use the restroom she had to ring the bell and wait, usually 30 min, for someone to help her to the restroom where they would leave her for 30-45min until they could return. An hour and a half to use the restroom, really? Some nurses were great, others had attitudes and clearly did not want to work there. I was told she could fill out complaint forms, however, I was then told they were out of them and never did receive one. The administrative staff is just as bad. Nice one moment, then not friendly at all. Clean facility and the staff at least does there job, eventually. I think they have about 1 CNA for 15 patients. Not enough! I'm sure there are worse places but I would certainly hope there were better.
