Review of Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

1 Star User Review

If I could give NO stars, I would. My dad was transferred to Diamond Hill from hospital, initially for rehab, then long-term. Before we could get him relocated to another facility, his cognitive and physical abilities diminished rapidly (per staff, due to aging). Then, unknown to family, he developed stage 4 bedsore, septicemia (blood poisoning) and osteomyelitis (bone infection). Miraculously, after weeks in hospital, he survived yet they insisted he return to Diamond Hill! No way that was going to happen. Happy to report that he doing very well and cognitive once again; now at a wonderful facility, The Albany County Nursing Home.
