This use to be a good nursing home I was told but not anymore. My mom was there in May for rehab only 2wks. Mom has dementia and they put her on a floor for only patients with dementia and not rehab. She was given Xanax by the doctor there and I was not notified of this. My mom was drugged up so bad she couldn't eat, stand, or do any of the rehab. I was there everyday at all different times asking what was wrong with her with no answer until I caught them one night at 8:30pm giving her the Xanax. After I found out, it was stopped(I assume) and I fed her meals that I brought over myself and watched the rest of the times she was there doing rehab. She was left in a room all day with nothing to do. They are understaffed that I waited 15 minutes to take her to the bathroom and I finally gave up and took her myself. After 21 days I finally got her home where she eats and walks on her own. Do not put a family member in here unless they are able to speak for themselves. You have to be there all the time watching them. I was frightened of this place and learned my lesson.
