Seems nice enough, but I'm not impressed with the "rehabilitation" program.

My uncle was in there and it seemed they did their best to slow his recovery and time it to the extent of the insurance. He was entitled to 1 hour therapy , 5 days a week. All the other time he forced to stay in bed or in a wheel chair. He could clearly get around better than some of the permanent residents there. But they had no such restrictions, and believe me, you wouldn't have let some of them wander around unattended.

One time we asked him if he could stand up on his own and he popped right up and proved to us he could get around easily, with the help of a walker. A minute later a nurse ran in and ordered him to sit down. (God forbid he actually get stronger!) I find it hard to believe this was doctor's orders; sounds more like the accountants and lawyers in charge.

There was no reason he shouldn't have been able to recover more quickly. When we took him home, he climbed a flight of stairs under his own power (with a steadying hand, of course)

I find this treatment unethical.
