Horrible experience there. My mother had severe stroke iaugust, she was admitted at pine valley for rehab. Rehab good, nursing staff horrible, along with adminstration. My mother had another stroke in that few facility a month after she was admitted. The nursing staff overlooked, made some notes about hewer speech getting worse, and ignored me! I insisted she needed catscan and was told the doctor needed to approve and the nurse didn't even relay msg to dr (i visit at night because work 50 hours a week) the short of it their lack of communication left my mom having stroke for four days before they sent her to the hospital… Oh and it gets worse
They send her back week later from hospital, they didn't tell me she lost her
I would've moved her had I known. the facility left the catheder in for week.. My mom was shaking from tremors which got worse. Again told facility to keep watch it, they send her to hospital literally a week later. They didn't document the tremors, and only said she had altered state of mind. They were more worried about covering their asses if she was having a stroke. My mother was left alone in the hospital both times; she couldn't speak for herself yet they left her alone. I got there in time and they admitted her: hospital didn't note shaking either because it was random and getting worse. Short of it: it took hospital week to realize she had another severe uti that caused tremors…. This was third one that month, the nursing home tried treating twice, and the hospital when she had the stroke. they lost done of my moms clothes, and have been avoiding me for over month now. They also have some money of hers which they insisted they cut check, which haven't seen. I suggest caution if you go here
