My husband was at Avalon Gardens for two months and I could not wait to get him out of there. They did not have gloves and used a garbage bag over their arms to clean him after having a BM. The food was awful.He had meat sauce one night for dinner. That was it just meat sauce. He would actually cry when I would visit him everyday. The physical therapy he got there was awesome. This was the only thing good about it. They tried to sue us saying we kept the insurance check given to us by our insurance company. We got a copy of the check from our insurance company, with their signature and had to hire a lawyer to prove we gave them the check. Some of the staff were nice, some were mean.Most could care less. The whole experience was a nightmare. Thank God he is out of there.
