upon visiting a friend on 5/17/12 i found this facility to be negligent in the care of its residents. the smell was sickening, calls lights and buzzers were ringing with no one responding,commodes had not been emptied all day and perhaps longer but left to stink beside the beds.. my friend told me that she has to wait hours after requesting medications and there are times when she is incontinent due to no one responding to her call for assistance. it was clear the the lack of nursing care was there. these people are there because they need help, they do not expect one on one service but then again they do not want to be left to lay in there own waste. something needs to be done to assure the residents /patients or whatever you want to call them , get the care and attention they need. my suggestion would be to close this place and start all over with new staff and management.
