My father stayed at this facity for about a month. During his stay we endured a great amount of nonsense from the staff. He became so dehyrdated that after he was discharged and brought home his oncologist admitted him to Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital for a week and a half. During one of my visits to see my dad, while he was in the nursing home, my father was complaining about not being able to go to the bathroom and how he was in extreme pain. When I went to the nurses desk to ask for help, I was told by one aide that she would "get to him later". His bathroom problem persisted for 3 weeks and they would refuse to give him his medicine. He would be in pain for atleast 9 hours until they finally gave him something. I made numerous complaints but was always told that my father was exaggerating. I want people to know what happened to him so they won't consider this facility for their loved one. My father was so sick after his stay here I thought he was dying. No one should have to go through that..
