DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE AT DRY HARBOR NURSING HOME!!!
My family member is a victim of the of the doctors and staff at this facility. They made grave errors in her care and have LIED AND HIDDEN medical information from us and have the audacity to be rude and nasty in the process!
If you place your loved one here, expect to stay day and night if possible, and be very involved and very vigilant!
Unfortunately, in our experience, "good" nursing homes are difficult to come by. But the attitudes and lack of respect and empathy of some of the staff here propelled my feelings about this place to depths of rage I have never experienced in my life!
My heart aches for all those that have no one to speak or fight for them in heir most vulnerable state, because my loved one had a constant stream of friends and family visiting and we were still not able to protect her.
The staff is REPUGNANT and the care is CRIMINALLY NEGLECTFUL.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! KEEP LOOKING!!

I TOTALLY AGREE!! MY FATHER WAS PLACED THERE AFTER NYHQ DID A HIP REPLACEMENT. MY FATHER HAD ALL HIS FACULTIES A VERY SHARP MIND, AT 78 YRS OLD. NOW HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHO I AM WHEN I CALL. I AM CURRENTLY FILING A LAWSUIT DUE TO UNEXPLAINED BRUISES, HIDDEN MEDICAL RECORDS, AND KEEPING THE FACT THAT HE HAD A STROKE HIDDEN FROM HIS FAMILY!!!!!!! HE FELL 3 TIMES AND HAD TO GET STITCHES IN HIS HEAD AFTER ONE OF THE FALLS AND WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT THAT AS WELL. THE LYING, IS UNBELIEVABLE I LIVE OUT OF STATE BUT AM DRIVING IN UNEXPECTEDLY SOON TO CATCH THEM IN THE ACT OF THEIR NEGLIGENCE. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE STAFF, THE DOCTORS ARE LIARS AND MONEY HUNGRY HEARTLESS ANIMALS!
