Coming from a Professional in the field for many years- PLEASE go somewhere else!!! Our experience was for rehabilitation. Having been through the same injury years ago and our family member came home that time with Physical Therapy after surgery and up ambulating with a cane in 2 weeks. NOW this time after 2 weeks in this place we are pulling them out from CNH and starting PT and rehab at home. They are very obviously financially driven at every turn which I find pathetic, when it's so clear. They dragged their feet with therapy to prolong the orignal stay of 2 weeks to 6 weeks which was not going to happen according to us!! Patient sat in a wheelchair for 14 hours of the day with no exercise, safety also was a trememdous issue. Family member slipped in the bathroom because they were alone, The nurse was outside the door and she pleadingly kept stating she was right there. The roommate heard the loud thump. Well as a professional myself I would have physically caught the person if I was there to the best of my ability but when your not there how could you?!! Could have been another emergency surgery.
Look very careful into Nursing Homes and Rehabilitation Facilities- don't go through what we did find somewhere else or have PT at home.
