I was admitted to Fulton center in late Feb. 13 for short term rehab. I remained there until April.
I was fearful when I first arrived. I feel that a better orientation as to protocall . A map of the facility would have been helpful.
Most of the KPNs and CNAs were kind and compassionate. Some of them could be heard griping about their jobs, in hearing range of the residents.
The physical therapy dept was very good and professional. The dining rooms were very clean and comfortable. My room was clean and comfortable. If I had any complaints, A staff member was told to address the issue. The meals were good. The unit manager was available. The activities dept. worked hard to keep the residents from boredom.
I feel that this facility needs much more time before any harsh judgments are handed down. It is still a work in progress.
