Review of Meadowbrook Care Center

2 Star User Review

My father has been a patient here. I feel the care is substandard and the people who work there are disengaged. They do not have the best interest of the patients at heart, as you can see they do not have enough staff to provide even the basic needs of patient. Older facility owned by out of state (Florida) owner that has not been cared for properly. Strong urine smell throughout . No security , poor supervison of staff on weekends and holidays.

My mom was also there but back in 2010, The place is horrible and like you said the DON as well as the rest of the staff need some training in human relations. They had a terrible attitude and errors and mistakes were made from day one. I could write a book about how bad the place and the staff are..RUN!!

My mother spent about two years in Meadowbrook. During her stay I had to take her once to the shower to wash her from head to toes with the approval of the nurses. My mother was always in pain and was given tylenol even though she had acute liver problem. My concerns about my mother's swollen legs and discolored foot fell on deaf ears, until her condition became so bad that I had to transfer her to another facility.Nurses there including the DON are in need of human relation courses to learn how to treat patient's family as customers.
