If you are able to seek shelter/care else where, I strongly suggest you, or your loved one does just that. No offense to the cna's and lpn's who try their best, just to return to the same mess they left the day before. I could go on for days about this place. But frankly it'd be too time consuming, and a waste of my time. Everything from constant filth; residents sitting in their own feces and urine for hours on end; to disgruntled, overworked, underpaid staff; to insects crawling….literally crawling on resident's bodies. The list goes on and on…. and on….and on. Don't even get me started on the interior…or the plumbing for that matter. The only people benefiting from a horrid place such as this is the
Managment. The poor residents just suffer in silence, with zero advocation. It's a surprise CMS/State does not shut the place down, or even attempt to bring about change. Either 1. they're in on it, and turn the other cheek, or 2. Elcor puts on one hell of a convincing show when State shows up -announced each year. Either way, I recommend you run the other way if it comes down to you staying here. I am going to go as far to say that if anyone dares to deny these accusations, you are a part of Management. God bless the residents, because God knows they need it.
