My mom was in rehab at Delaware for a month. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. I was a very frequent visitor, but what impressed me was how well they treated those who never had a visitor. Mom was brought from a lethargic state after her fall to a point where she was scheduled to be released to an assisted living facility this weekend. She was alert, moving well, and able to tackle any tasks the rehab team asked. Special mention goes to her floor nurse, Pamela, whom mom loved. She was so kind to all the residents. The rehab team also gets kudos for the great work they did with her.
The building is tired, but the people are first rate. The administrative people were most helpful at a time that was challenging.
Mom died in her sleep yesterday, but I know she was treated well during her time there.
