HELLO,
I am a physician with 3 fused vertebral disks in my back and with a number of other physical disorders from high blood pressure and asthma to high chloresterol and diabetes. My diabetic CBG blood sugars run to almost 600.
I spent several years in rehab at Bronx Park Nursing and Reheb Center, and they were happy years for me there. I received excellent medical care and health care services from a wonderful Jewish woman physician who helped my physical and care needs immeasureably. My life at Bronx Park was great, and I had execellent care while there.
I read through the other review and understand the author's views and opinions. But it must be remembered that Bronx Park and its owners and staff are working with a limited budget and a restricted access to funds. Bingo and coloring books bring enjoyment to some and happieness to others. While they may not be the most sophisticated of pasttimes, they are helpful and useful emotional aids that bring psychosocial rehab to many and pleasure and joy to nearly all.
