This afternoon 3 residents did not get their lunch as the lunch staff under counted the number of meals needed so they got nothing.
Have you ever heard of such a thing? As nice as most of the nursing staff is you have to be as self sufficient or family dependent as you can possibly be because you can ask for or express a need for something but you may never get it; it seems that your request to the staff fly's out of their minds as soon as they leave your room.Need ice/fresh water? Get it yourself… uh oh almost forgot, if your wheelchair bound you can't access the kitchen anyway and even more residents are not really permitted to go into the kitchen to get their own food or water/ice.No planned weekend events, better hope that the family or even your dear enemy will come calling because if your illness doesn't kill you boredom will.
